The Countdown

Guess what I have been hearing all morning long?

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!!!!

The excitement is palpable.

Our tradition is for Granny to come over on Christmas Eve for sandwiches and goodies and we exchange gifts with her. Everything else is left for Christmas morning... including stockings, because we are visited by Santa. On Christmas Eve is also when we have our cake for Baby Jesus. We will be baking and decorating it tomorrow for Him. When I mentioned it, the kids generously offered to eat it for Him. Aren't they sweet? Since we had Abbie's party last night, the house is clean. The shopping is done, the presents are wrapped. So today is a lounge around in our PJ's, watching Christmas movies and snacking on cookies, day. Tomorrow we will be baking and Thursday is all for celebrating!!!!

So, from our family to yours,

Have a special Baby Jesus day!

Sounds wonderful! I wish we were doing the same, unfortunately, we are behind in our school days so we are doing lessons. We wanted to do them this morning but ended up at the Dr. instead. Tigercub has had an ear infection and started running fever and developed a rash. We found out he is allergic to penicillin so we are now on new drugs and benadryl. Anyway, we are hoping to finish quick and bundle up watching movies this afternoon and staying out of the icy weather. Have a blessed day!

Merry Christmas!

I wish, too, that we were all cuddled together on the couch watching movies. It never occured to me to get things done before this day so that we could do that! Maybe we will try to start a new tradition next year...although I do procrastinate quite a bit.
Have a wonderful Christmas!
